At the IASA 2015 Business Show in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this month, DRC announced that GameChanger® Portal is now configured to provide direct to consumer sales for specialty lines.  Insurance carriers, MGAs, and brokers can now provide access for their customers to quote, purchase, and self-service their policies.

In three months from contract signing GameChanger Portal has been deployed to the Microsoft Azure cloud for a specialty lines customer.  Microsoft Azure was selected because of its scalability and ease of creating multiple accounts for everything from development to demonstration, and then production.  Being able to setup environments in the cloud helped keep the infrastructure costs of the project controlled.

“We are extremely pleased by this latest implementation of GameChanger Portal,” noted Robert Whitton, VP of Business Development at DRC.  “It is very impressive to be able to deliver a new line of business, via our SaaS licensing model in such a short implementation time.  This deployment method will become the standard as we demo the system for a prospect in the cloud, then use that environment to configure the client to production,” Whitton continued.
